    I don't have it either.
For those who are doing it, if you have an opportunity to experiment and can let us know what pirates are OK that'd be great! (ie- if we need to go to our battle list, will battles against friends/neighbors count, or must they be actual pirates.)

same thing... just sent Beth on a 5 hour voyage, but no quest yet.
As long as I get the full amount of time, I'm actually OK with that, though.
My EQ still has a couple of hours left on a long voyage, and Cap'n Jim still has several hours to recover from his first skirmish with the Dread Pirate Randall (I weakened the pirate enough with several other ships so that it was showing red... but it wasn't quite enough to avoid damage.)

Hmm. not sure why. I didn't even send a ship on a voyage. All I did was click on it. I think it was phillip's frigate.

Mine came up from clicking house.

Mine just popped up after I'd been signed on for about a minute. I'm not sure you have to tap anything. Some folks just get it at different times.

I just got mine! I think it was just "time" rather than anything clicked on.

And.... I don't have enough space for the tent, dang it! So... if you're waiting, make sure you have enough space for a house (a large house, perhaps?) I did have a parcel that was already explored, so now clearing space. I'd already clicked a bunch of dolphins so need to wait for more energy.
Not complaining. It won't really matter to my schedule, as it should be cleared to place before I go to sleep, so either way I should have the tent waiting for me when I get up in the morning. Just a preparation reminder for others.

I've had good luck with always battling Dread Pirate with first the Battleship, then with Galleon or Dreadnought.

Thanks! I'll try to remember that. I don't have dreadnought but I do have the other two at max level.

Also -- I answered my other question...
Any battles, including friends/neighbors will work to complete step 1.

I'm happy to have a weak friend in my pirate battle list. I just attack her every 20 minutes and I have my pirate battles checked off! No ship repairs. :-)

Not sure I will bother, nothing great here as a reward?

We need more black pearl quests, they are rarer than rocking horse poo lol

So... If you do this without starting certain steps early, and just following the steps, you have a minimum of 65 hours of tasks in 3 days. Which, if you get the full time allowed, is 72 hours.

Since most of us also sleep, have families and work, I find this a tad ridiculous. I think I'll try to reach the ruby reward stage and see if I stop there. Do not really need another low paying merchant anyway...

I think they do not really know their customer base....
