Ever the optimist, I am still expecting the re-run to happen. Reading some of the earlier stuff written by Sooni plus some very early forum stuff and adding that to my own early experience and I do believe there is hope that the mechanism was set in place at the same time they wrote the re-run stuff for CoS. As I say, ever the optimist until it doesnt happen and then I will need to re-think everything but that hasnt happened yet.

    edit.
I do hope my optimism doesn't bring the pessimists out of the woordwork. This game and forum needs all the goodwill it can get.

I bet you always told MiL to "smell the roses."

Fiddle dee dee, I like what Scarlett said at the end of GWTW..."After all, tomorrow is another day."

I used to love Alfred E when I was younger and the magazine was younger as well.

I just re-read my post and need to make it clear that MiL is still with us but has stopped using most of her annoying homilies. The ones that have remained are spoken much less smugly these days.

I am hoping those dunes recycle. I am counting on it. But just in case they don't, I have another plan in place.

Previously that just would not do. I'm still working on crafting. So I guess the game has now slowed to my pace...I play once in the Am and again in the evening.

I miss the postings that was once hard for me to keep current on.
    Dark is always good.

SE I will send her your regards.

So where are we at. Well I really need a wee but i am protesting. Man Utd won, head is ****. Windy weather doesn't help. My chocolate stash is unbearable to look at. (None left.)

How are the rest of you?

SE...I thought she was still with you...

I bought a Cadbury caramello the other day, but it's gone...

I open the game a couple of times each day to play a few rounds and collect rubies...I have a decent amount of trees, after going insane during several Casino Events...

The weather is nice here in the Midwest. Working in the yard, going on bike rides...

    No complaints.

Sal. You are nothing but a big tease.

Dark. I would say take a holiday but we are just finishing the worse winter for the last 50 years or so. Murcia city saw the first snow since records began. Still nicer than that awful wind you seem to be having all over the UK. DId you see the programme on channel 4 about the best place to live in the UK? Two firsts for me, a friend from Belfast appeared and spoke a sentence or two and the area that was statistically the best is the area where we live.
Real life is great, SP is slipping.
Besides the footy how are things generally?

    Takes one to know one...

SE...your post about the Cadbury Creme eggs stuck in my mind. I was in the supermarket yesterday and saw a Cadbury display..a tier of three bins all filled with the eggs. There were only two varieties though, the Chocolate Creme egg and the one that that was in your egg basket. Btw, shouldn't those other eggs be in the fridge? Anyhoo, I grabbed a couple of the kind you had and proceeded to the check-out line. When the cashier scanned my two eggs she said "are these buy 2 get 1 free?" I told her that I didn't know and didn't care and I wasn't going back for the freebie. I guess she was as enamored with the Creme egg as much as you SE, because she shut down her register and went to retrieve my free egg. She was gone for a couple of minutes, an eternity in check-out line time, but the people in back of me didn't seem to mind. Must be the mystique of The Egg that brings out the best in people. Lol...

Candy Review: The Cadbury Creme Egg

The cream egg has never been a favorite of mine, even as a child. Cream eggs were always the last things left in my Easter basket...along with the Peeps, yuck! But I will admit the Cadbury Creme egg is quite good. I like the size...not too big, not too little, just right. The outer shell is layered with thick chocolate and the cream has a nice color. The cream though, is a little too sweet and messy for me. I think the best way to eat this would be to refrigerate it and eat it with a knife and fork. I don't like sticky fingers. So on a scale of 1-5 Cocoa Beans, I'm giving the Cadbury Creme egg a 3.

Just for the heck of it, I guess I could say something about the game and not totally hijack the thread...

The most interesting thing going on in my game now is trying to get all sites at 5 Silver Stars using only one Level 10 sapphire. Yes, yes...I know I could get more L 10's and that would make it easier, but I like the thought of doing it with just one. I almost nailed one of the more difficult sites the other day...but I had a L10 aquamarine in the Magical Compass slot, instead of the sapphire, and blew it. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Yesterday was horrific. Trees have been uprooted from the grounds. One near my brother sits on a hill, the tree took the hill with it and covered the road.

I didn't venture out at all. Past few days been a blur, dear lord the pain! Things are a lot calmer now so my head is more tolerable.

I have never been much of a European traveller, it's mostly beyond.

I haven't heard of the programme you mentioned, but I always think that the best place to live in is the one you make the best of. Not what others think is the best.

Well other things are ok, bought my new fridgefrezer, oven and washing machine. Hob and microwave to go. Everything has been dying after each other. My son, my sunshine is doing great. Looking forward to spring which equals to rain.

How are other things with you?

    Hey Sal. Love your review.

Hey, hey, please leave me some. OMG my mouth is watering.

Yesterday after watching my grandsons select hockey game Nana took the family for ice creams. Now picture this, there are flurries going on outside and inside we are drooling over our ice creams. My daughter and I had Score Bar parfaits, my son-in-law a peanut buster parfait and the kids soft serve dipped in chocolate. Score bars are hard Carmel coated in chocolate, crushed and mixed into the ice cream. A little bit of heaven.

That sounds really delicious, Kiwi. And I just had strawberry shortcake for dessert and it makes me hungry.

This is one of the best tasting threads ever.

Yes they certainly deserve an award. And I am guilty of looking and if I don't find anything, just move on. I do have a great story that encloses chocolate though.

Last weekend himself was working out of town which he has done for several weekends. He usually tells me what and where they have been eating when we talk in the evenings. This last weekend he was telling me all about this place they had been for dessert and how they had all this chocolate that looked good. I asked if he bought me any and his reply was no because he thought maybe it was too expensive. I told him that it wouldn't have been that much to just by me a couple of pieces and he was making plenty of extra money and he could afford a couple of pieces. So he told them the next morning that he needed to go back to the chocolate place because he was in trouble with me because he hadn't bought me any chocolate. So I got some really yummy chocolates and most of them were dark chocolate which is my favorite but some milk chocolate too.
