Well now that someone has noticed and posted it (only took one and a half days!), I will own up to being 'The end of SP as we know it'

Not sure about the other two, but Salmo and Claire de Lune are nowhere to be seen this weekend.

Funny Mike, I was going to ask what had happened to you, thought you must be out on the razzle. Good name!

Also have AutumnLeavesMustFall in my group. Rosemary or Bill??

Nice graphic, kstam! Happy 2017 everyone!
We arrived home at 11:30 safe and tired from our 4,000 mile road trip to and around Florida and back. Good luck in the last event everyone! I was planning to fully participate, but after my 8000 rubies disappeared after an hour of play, I kinda lost the will. I am somewhere between 20 and 40 in the group with Meggymoo and many others. Go forumers!

Good evening everyone, and Happy New Year. It is for me - the relative infestation is over. I like my relatives but they've been coming and going for the last two weeks and today I drove to the airport twice to get rid of the last stragglers. Finally an empty house, a refrigerator full of rotting leftovers, and the cats have come out of their hiding places. Back to normal - well, except for the refrigerator.

I didn't even notice that the rewards were doubled; that was a nice touch. I'm in a low scoring group - the high (at the moment) is Cara at around 60,000. I'm in fourth at 27,000 and hopefully I'll stay around there. The 7th through 10th places haven't moved in hours so either they're playing possum or decided to stop.

This one has been fun - I've actually gotten a lot of the gold by using shovels and PTs. The Casino seems to hate me but I have gotten a lot of shovels and PTs from that - and another 10 useless earthshine ores.

Oh well, back to picking, digging, and spinning.

Well, folks, with just under 13 minutes to go in this last of events, that's it for me, I'm going back to bed! But before I do, I just wanted to say Happy New Year (a bit belated, but I was busy) to All and a very happy birthday today to our very own, Meggymoo! May that lush b-day pressie appear under your tree in a few hours!

    Thank you, GPF!!

Well it's over. The events finishing on my birthday was not a good present from PG, but as long as there are no surprises at the end I finished top 2, which is a very nice gift and I'm over the moon

It was a formidable group of ladies I was in and a strong forum performance in group A. Well done Kathy, Tassie and GPF! It's a shame Tammy wasn't able to join us at the top. I hope you had a good trip, Tammy!

Well done everyone! I'm sorry the events are over, but it's been a pleasure to play alongside you all.

While I am sorry the events are over, it was a great way to finish with no rubies or PT's left!

Thanks Kstam, Meggymoo and GPF I really enjoyed trying to catch you all weekend. Awesome effort!

And a very Happy Birthday to you, Meggymoo.

Here is the final leaderboard from group D. John-billy did his usual trick and snuck onto the leaderboard at the very last minute out of nowhere. On my screen he was 7th when the event ended, but when rewards were allocated he was apparently 3rd.

    Well done to igota.

Well done all. I decided to burn the majority (160K) of my 220K rubies on this event (as they say, you can't take them with you) and had a last bit of entertainment spinning and chasing over the weekend. 6th place was just fine, but I enjoyed chasing TheLastDance till the end of tournaments as we know them. Thanks for the sport, I hadnt done one of these for months.

My group stayed more or less the same except Hollow came out of nowhere to take 2nd. I was a bit worried about him since he had been in the leaderboard on Saturday at around 10k and let it drop off. I expected that he might make a late run but with 45 minutes to go I went to bed with him nowhere in sight but when I woke up, there he was.

I ended up in 6th, and considering that I didn't think I'd have the resources to make a run this weekend, that was pretty good. And I still have 20k rubies and over 1000 pts and shovels. I expected more of a fight from everyone since I have no idea why we will need anything near that number of resources going forward so why not blow everything this time?

What now? I suspect I'll open up the sites that I didn't manage to open earlier in the Crisis passage. Those seem to take 5000-8000 rubies to open once you miss them. So there's some need for rubies. I still have lots of EG dig sites to deal with, so shovels will be needed. Will more Crisis Passage sites show up? I'll need PTs for those.

Well, let's see how it is going forward. I can always start playing that sword/magic game that I downloaded...

dgk - did you get a screenshot of your final leaderboard? If not, do you recall who won and their final score?

    Well done to Everyone,
I should say I was lucky as honestly I didn't have enough resources.
From friday - only rare 50's in the digsite.
From sunday noon - no more 50's in the crypt ( there must be a cap, as the 50 turned to 0 in the middle of the crypting suddenly.) A crash happened in the last row and when I got back 1-10-20's gone too.
I have left 7500 PT, yet I started a scoring event yesterday to gain some rubies. It was just enough.
I thought I posted my score to the server at 25 K, but it looks like it weren't.

I only regret the BB event gone as the other events were partly disabled for me.

So now it's time to move forward from Waimea, explore the NR, finish the jewels, achieve high score on scenes ( I don't think I can manage 7-8 seconds though) and smell the roses...
I will have more time for my loved one too...

Talking of things disappearing. Part way through the weekend x6 iron ore vanished from my dig sites. x10 disappeared months ago, so now I have only x3 left. There must be a cap on these too. Maybe my remaining challenge should be to discover at what amount of iron ore x3 disappear as well!
